Many pilots have different frame types at different stages, from the simplest hollow cup to the most complex Racing drone. Every pilot needs these frames:

1. The frame of hollow cup

Many people like FPV drones because they see FPV videos and want to make their own videos. The first fpv drone of many pilots mostly starts with a hollow cup.

Its price is tens of dollars, and the frame material is generally 3D printed, which is very suitable for new pilots. New pilots need to learn more if they want to fly. The most important thing is not to fly in crowded places, it is very dangerous.

2.2.5 inch toothpick FPV frame

In the past two years, a new type of four-axis drone, the toothpick FPV, has appeared. This kind of fpv is very lightweight, has a 2.5-inch structure, a high thrust-to-weight ratio, can get 5-8 minutes of battery life, and the price is 100-200 US dollars.

3.3 inch Duct Propeller frame

Duct Propeller, the biggest feature, is a circle of ducts around the propeller and a layer of arc flanging on the duct.

It is mainly used for taking pictures, and does not need to do complicated movements, and the flight is mainly stable.

4.3 inch freestyle FPV frame

FERRSTYLE FPV is a frame that pilots like. It does not pursue the speed of a Racing drone, but can fly more freely. A 3-inch freestyle FPV is generally heavier than a 3-inch Racing drone,  but requires a higher battery time. Compared with the 4-inch and 5-inch freestyle FPV, the 3-inch freestyle FPV has a smaller size and faster speed. But it generally cannot load digital cameras.

5.4 inch, 5 inch freestyle FPV frame

The difference between 4-inch, 5-inch frame and 3-inch freestyle FPV is that it generally supports high-definition digital VTX or supports a sports camera for shooting high-definition video. It pursues the ultimate freestyle experience. It can climb, soar, and dive like an eagle, and it can also fly slowly and calmly through extremely narrow spaces.

6.5 inch Racing drone

Racing drone, speed is the only pursuit, F1 in the drone industry. For example, DCL, DRL, MultiGP and other FPV drone competitions use the Racing drone frame. Professional pilots took off from the same starting point, passed the same track, and reached the finish line first to win.

 

Therefore, the Racing drone uses a more reasonable motor + battery to pursue stronger power, and it discards the sports camera  and pursues a lighter weight for faster speed. The 5-inch Racing drone 加is the most difficult.

 

7.5 inch toothpick FPV frame

T700 is a high-tech material widely used in aviation fields such as rockets, aircraft carriers , and airplanes. The edges of Gyarados frame have been chamfered, so there is no need to polish.
